Humming a tune from an unknown source Wendy skipped upstairs while texting Shen Rou.

The sun was shining very brightly outside on the people who were moving about on the streets and there was a faint breeze intermittently causing leaves from the jujube tree in front of the school to fall one by one.
Inside a cafe located adjacent the front gate of the school were Wendy, Shen Rou and Ming Tao. In front of them were Taro milk tea, lemonade and a cup of cappuccino for each person respectively.
They also had open books on the table as they wrote in them while exchanging points intermittently. They remained like this for the next thirty minutes before heading back towards the school.
Immediately they stepped into the school compound, the bell rung, stiff signalling the end of recess and the beginning of yet another class.
Soon the day was over and all the third year students had a load of extra assignments to complete to help them for the upcoming college entrance examinations.
As she was willing out of the school with her books, Wendy noticed a black Rolls-Royce parked in front of the school gate where everyone could have a look at it.
She immediately recognised it as that of the Xie family. Peering through the passenger seat window and setting the driver on his phone, she pretended she hadn't recognised the car and walked away.
When she had reached somewhere further from the school, she received a call. She placed her books on the nearby bench.
'Driver'.
Rolling her eyes she placed the phone by her ears as she answered the call.
"Hello, madam ", a very irritated voice sounded.
"Where are you, I'm here to pick you up from school?"
"Oh. I'm not at school anymore. I'm near the 'LJK' petrol station. Come and pick me up." She couldn't even bother to pretend to be polite as she was aware that he was more of a spy and less of her driver.
Earlier in the day, she had had her system improve her hearing with the remains of some points she had accumulated — bringing her back to zero — in order to eavesdrop on the confession David Xu, the driver hash had with her stepmother.
"Keep an eye on her and if she does anything out of the ordinary, let me know. Also, I want to be informed of anything thing she says our how she behaves it who she interacts with when she is around you ", Mary Zhen had said.
Coming to her senses just as the car arrived, horn honking she picked up her books and stood waiting for David Xu to open her door for her.
After a few minutes, he got out of the driver's side and walked to open the door, not forgetting to bang the car door to express his dissatisfaction and annoyance.
'I'll need to find a way to get rid of him or take him', she right with her eyes closed.
Soon enough they were back home.
"Anytime school closes, pick me up from where you dropped me off. Don't come to the school", she said before she stepped out of the car without waiting for a response.
"And... don't forget my books in the car", smiling sweetly she walked into the house to meet the rest of the family.
Suddenly she picked out her phone and started gushing in a low voice about how she was going shopping the next day because she had made enough money to be a millionaire.
Nearby, Cassandra listened to all this disbelief and a hint of doubt in her heart as well as some hesitation because even though she was well off, no-one appurtenances day no to the prospect of more money especially if she earned it herself.
It was at this moment that Wendy happened to mention the stock and she quickly kept chanting the name on her heart — planning on testing the waters.
When she walked back to her room, Wendy immediately put her phone away. David had just walked in carrying her books which she directed him to put on the nearest table.
After he bowed to her rolling his eyes, thinking she didn't see him, he pulled out his phone, walking out — probably to call Mary.
