Frank instinctively looked at Nancy Allen. Unable to fathom her intentions, he just nodded.
The scene in the flower shop then changed. Godfery Shaw and Frank learned how to trim flower branches, and then handed the neatly trimmed ones to Nancy Allen for sorting and arranging.
He rolled up his sleeves, looking a bit different from usual. The unapproachable distance seemed to diminish. Despite his noble aura, trimming flower branches here was quite the contrast.
Nancy Allen received one branch from Frank, and then another from Godfery Shaw.
For some reason, the one handed by Godfery Shaw felt heavier, creating pressure.
Eventually, Nancy Allen couldn't take it anymore, wrote a note on the side, "Frank, let's leave for today."
Frank didn't understand, but nodded cooperatively, "Alright, Nancy Allen, you guys go ahead. I'll clean up the remaining bit and then leave."
Nancy Allen quickly pulled Godfery Shaw away, afraid that if they stayed longer, Frank would let it slip.
