"Lian Jing, you've really misunderstood me." His grip hurt Shen Yin. She slapped his arms hard, but she could not budge the man.
Lian Jing tightened his grip in anger. When his bloodshot eyes landed on the red mark on Shen Yin's jaw, he regained his senses.
He subconsciously relaxed his grip, but his voice was extremely grim. "Then tell me, what exactly did I misunderstand?"
"I just wanted to clarify matters with him so that he wouldn't like me anymore." Shen Yin pried his fingers away with much difficulty and rubbed her aching jaw, glancing at him aggrievedly.
"Then why did you need to get into the car? Were you waiting for him to confess his feelings to you?" Lian Jing felt angry at the thought of that scene. He had a feeling that someone had preempted the surprise he had meticulously prepared.
Shen Yin was speechless when she saw his jealous expression. He looked so murderous it was as if they were discussing her getting into someone else's bed instead of their car.
