Chapter 2 - Continue

After arranging my things in the hostel and made my bed, I commenced with the second segment of accreditation which was the ICT REGISTRATION. When I got there, I met a multitude of corps members waiting on the queue of ten lines that seems to move once in every 2 hours I joined the line and was waiting for my turn that seemed like forever. My problem was not the stagnancy of the line or the hot sun; but what the annoying soldiers were doing with we the " patient ones" on the queue.

They ordered some of us to sit on the floor, carry our files on our head, verbal abused us, asked us dance to the rhythm of different tuneless music which they had composed for us....

As if that wasn't enough, they went as far as checking our faces to know those that were frowning or not responding to their bullying. If they noticed you were frowning, they will order you to leave the line and go to the end of it (no matter how close you are to the ICT unit).
