"What a day!" Nivritti exhaled a big puff of air the moment she entered her house. Her first day back was filled with drama, anxiety, and fear. She thought she might die due to all that worry and fretfulness. But somehow, she escaped hell.
"Yeah, tell me about it," replied Jae-Hwa while hanging the bags on the pegs near the door. She, too, was nervous all day and was extremely afraid to reply to questions. She kept thinking about what would happen if she made a mistake. And she saw what would happen if she had made a mistake. An example was Dae.

"Pain?" asked Jae-Hwa, suddenly sitting straight up.
"No, just tingling and throbbing." Nivritti let her head fall on the armrest of the couch.
"Let me get you an icepack," said Jae-Hwa, and while groaning, she started standing up.
