The call disconnected, and Nivritti jumped on her bed. Sitting on her knees, she pulled her laptop closer and paid for Missmatch's new list. She again crosschecked the list, and it was, as usual, legit. And again, most of the scripts belonged to her server.
It made her think about why Dae was dragging her name or why Missmatch was helping him do so. If she had only published the information given to her, Nivritti could have understood. But sending anonymous emails to point towards a comment under her blog and then giving her name was something else. It was personal.
Nivritti thought back from the day she arrived in Korea till now, she never once did anything that would irk Dae, then why was he against her? She was never rude to him; she never hurt him, in fact, he hurt her. They have always been civilised while talking to each other. Then what was Dae's problem? Or was she overthinking everything?
