Chapter 5 - Meet Again

Meanwhile, Joana left Sean without looking back. After only three steps Joana left Sean again the man with no filter mouth said harshly to her.

"I can't believe it, it turns out that all women are the same, at the club just served a fat old man and now they are bringing another man to the apartment tomorrow who else? You cheap bastard!" Sean said to provoke Joana's anger, but apparently the girl was indifferent, let alone to argue with Sean's words, just didn't turn around, making Sean shrug his shoulders nonchalantly.

Sean casually entered his apartment which turned out to be opposite Joana's after giving a scathing remark to the girl.

Joana threw her body behind the door after entering her room, she was tired but had no other choice to continue with the job she was currently doing.

Always the words that Sean said he heard from some people who consider themselves to be entertainers, just because they work in nightclubs without knowing the real facts.

With unsteady steps, Joana walked into the bathroom to clean herself and also calm her mind, she soaked in warm water accompanied by relaxing aromatherapy.

Finished with her activities, Joana went to sleep, she didn't want to think about Sean's harsh words as long as she was still doing good.

Joana threw her body on the soft bed preparing to welcome the beautiful dream.

***

Joana squirmed when the sun came in disturbing her sleep, apparently it was already light outside but Joana still felt comfortable with her thick blanket feeling lazy to face today, but she jumped when she remembered her agenda which was to meet Garry on campus.

The girl rushed to the bathroom to clean herself up so excitedly, she couldn't wait to meet her sister whom she missed so much.

It didn't take long for him to finish his work. Joana wore a casual maroon dress, so the contrast with her white skin color made her shine even more.

Joana adorned her tiny lips with lip gloss making her appearance look much younger than her age, she came out when she was done even Joana hummed a little to start the day with such enthusiasm.

However, the smile that had been on his lips had to fade when he saw that Sean, the man with a spicy mouth, was already in front of the elevator, seeing this man made Joana's mood bad.

Reluctantly, Joana walked over to Sean who was standing waiting for the elevator to open because he also had the same goal, namely the basement of the apartment.

Sean glanced at the person standing beside him, a disdainful smile on the young man's lips.

"Woah, it turns out that early in the morning you already have a great plan huh. It's so neat, tsk tsk tsk!" quipped Sean, but was ignored by Joana. The girl was reluctant to look for trouble in the morning, she felt ignorant about people's judgments, yet from the start she was also like that, so why should she respond to Sean's view of her who judged the same as most people.

Ting.

The elevator opened and Joana rushed in without wanting to argue with the hot-mouthed man. But sadly they have to get back together because Sean is also in.

In the elevator the two of them fell silent in their own thoughts. The silence that was created made Sean's mouth itch to speak to Joana again.

"Oh yes, I forgot that last night I forgave you because you are a woman even though I am reluctant to forgive but it's okay to always be kind," Sean said, breaking the silence, and apparently his words managed to grab the girl's attention completely.

Joana looked into Sean's eyes sharply, she acted rude because she didn't accept Sean insulting her as a bitch even though they had never met let alone knew each other, but Sean had said that to her.

"And I never intended to apologize to you, sir," said Joana no less scathingly. Sean stared back at Joana's clear eyes, who was about to argue with the girl, was silent when he saw the look in her eyes that seemed full of mystery, as if stupefied with Joana's eyes, he didn't take his eyes off the girl until the clinking of the elevator took him back to his senses.

Joana left first, leaving Sean who was still shaking his head cursing his behavior just now.

Sean took a taxi to the campus where his younger brother is studying, hopefully his younger brother has morning classes so he doesn't have to ask questions and even goes back and forth to campus just to meet his sister.

Arriving in front of the gate he came down, Joana asked one of the students who happened to be passing by. Dewi Fortuna is on her side because it turns out that Garry went to class in the morning and hasn't come yet, Joana has been faithfully waiting for her sister to arrive.

About ten minutes waiting for Joana to see Garry riding his sport bike.

"Garry!!!"

The young man who felt his name being called stopped his vehicle, Joana ran to her sister.

"Garry!" called Joana when she arrived in front of her sister. Garry rolled his eyes to see Joana in front of him, he got off the motorbike and took off his helmet roughly.

"Sis Joana? Is this true, Sis Joana?" Garry asked as if he couldn't believe that his brother, who had been away from home for several months, was now in front of him.

Joana nodded with teary eyes, she really missed the man who was always kind to her when she was at the Wilson residence.

Garry hugged Joana tightly, spilling the mounting longing for his sister, he even had time to look for Joana but had not found a bright spot. Grateful that today his brother is in front of him in good condition. Joana returned the hug of her sister, she even dropped the tears that had been welling up from the start.

"I miss you brother, where have you been all this time?" asked Garry after letting go of his hand, he gently wiped Joana's tears with his thumb. If other people saw the interaction between the two, they would have thought that they were lovers, especially Garry, who was taller than Joana.

"Brother misses you too."

"Brother, come home! We're going home. I'm sure papa was just emotional at that time," Garry coaxed while holding Joana's hand making the girl smile, in fact Joana was happier after leaving the house and meeting Edgar. Even though he has to work at a nightclub, he enjoys his new routine without the shadow of the Wilson family's rudeness and intimidation.

Joana shook her head in answer to Garry's question, she was reluctant if she had to go back to the hell that others call home.

"No Garry, you don't want to go home, now you're better off leaving this cursed house, that's something you should have taken a long time ago."

"But Garry misses you," said the young man, making Joana ruffle his hair in exasperation. Indeed, Garry was very close to Joana, so it was only natural that he hoped that Joana would return home.

Meanwhile, across the street, someone who had been following Joana since leaving the apartment made a sour sound.

"Everywhere women are the same, even in one day since last night I've seen her with three different men, what a slut!" Felix said while driving back to his car.

Yes, Sean followed Joana away without him realizing it as if Joana had a spell that attracted him to follow the girl.

Arriving at the office Sean drowned with busy work, because Frans was really rushing work to take a wedding leave that was about to take place making him a little overwhelmed.

Until break time arrived Sean was still busy struggling with his work.

Knock knock

A knock on the door stopped Sean from doing what he was doing, he glanced at the clock on his wrist.

"Enter!"

Frans entered with a beautiful woman who took his arm affectionately.

"What's the bride-to-be?" Sean asked, teasing the two of them.

Frans smiled as he grabbed the woman's hand beside him.

"It's nothing, I just wanted to let you know that today is my last day of work because starting tomorrow I'm taking leave," said Frans, making Sean sigh harshly.

"Yes, congratulations on your marriage!" Sean said sincerely in response to the happy smile of the couple in front of him.

"Hmm, thank you. I have to meet the person who gave Beatrix enlightenment because thanks to that person our relationship improved again, even though at that time I had broken our relationship, but now we are even getting married," said Frans without fading his smile.

"Where did you find someone like Beatrix? I'm curious," Sean asked, turning to the woman beside Frans.

"I met her at Edgar Kenedy's club, she was the one who gave me advice about a relationship, we are even friends now. Thanks to her, my relationship with Frans is getting better. I also invited him to our wedding later. You must like him, Sean, she's a nice girl. good."

"I wanted to get to know that person."

Frans and Beatrix leave and they will see the wedding preparations which will take place this Sunday keeping both of them busy.
