After the Yen Family disappeared from Nine Stars City, a reporting platform was added to the official website of the City Lord's Mansion Nine Stars City, where anyone could anonymously report bullying families or individuals.
All of a sudden, people who had done bad things panicked, and all the major families in Nine Stars City panicked too.
Some families already had a guilty conscience, some didn't, but seeing the Yen Family gone, the heads of the major families were all afraid something like that might exist in their own clans, so while worrying about the grand competition, they also sent people to investigate their own family members.
Gu Zhiqi ultimately didn't stay on as a mentor for the grand competition the whole time. While the competition was in progress, she led people to arrest batch after batch, and quite a few families were also struck off the rolls of Nine Stars City by Gu Zhiqi.
