The people from the Biochemical Star Region couldn't understand why the Orion Arm and the other half of the Biochemical Star Region had so many geniuses, but they didn't expect that even the Orion Arm themselves were baffled.
"Uh, we won so many matches? But why are all the geniuses in each match ones we don't recognize..."
Many of the populace, and even some of the slightly higher-ranking officials, were clueless about what was happening.
The failure of the Orion Arm in this genius battle, was something everyone somewhat anticipated. After all, comparing geniuses, not to mention the Orion Arm combined with half of the Biochemical Star Region, even if the entire Biochemical Star Region, plus the Orion Arm, added several surrounding small starfields' geniuses, they might not necessarily surpass the foundation of the Empire.
