Batty Arthur struggled to open his eyes, letting out a dry groan. After several attempts, he finally managed to focus, seeing the figure that had been wandering back and forth before him.
It was Lainan Lena, with smooth golden hair, bunny ears atop her head, quite different in species from him though both were from the Half-beast People. Despite also being a seventh-year student at Holy Spear Knight Academy, she had always called him 'senior' since he started working and studying to assist newcomers from his second day at school, and couldn't seem to change this habit.
"Ah! Senior, you're finally awake!"
The tall girl with a cautious touch placed a warm towel on Batty's forehead. Seeing Batty open his eyes, she let out a joyful cry and then squatted beside the bench where Batty lay, holding his right hand with concern, "Senior, are you feeling better? Is there any discomfort, any headache?"
"Hmm."
