Vivian picked up a piece of potato-braised chicken, which seemed to be the least bland dish.
She took a big bite.
A nervous expression flashed across Gabriel Moore's face for a second, like a chef waiting for a judge's critique.
After eating, Vivian smacked her lips and slightly furrowed her brows, asking, "Did you change the chef at your place?"
Gabriel Moore, seeing her reaction, was unsure of how to respond.
Fortunately, before he could answer, Vivian spoke again, and this time the words were even more piercing.
"It's a bit tasteless."
Gabriel Moore immediately closed the lunch box, "Then I'll order you some takeout, what do you want to eat?"
Vivian shook her head, "Forget it, I'll make do, I'm really hungry."
Gabriel Moore closed the lid, "Don't eat it!"
Vivian, sharp-eyed, saw Gabriel Moore's fingers wrapped with two band-aids and thought about the dish.
"Did you make this?"
Gabriel Moore was taken aback, his gaze resting on Vivian's face, and he nodded blankly.
