The enhancement to my Divine Sense is comparable to breaking through the First Layer of the Taixiao Sword Mysterious Skill. It seems the increase from Fishing in later stages is reasonably substantial.
It's just more challenging to improve.
Using "Fish Coming," I fished for one day and caught thirty Top-grade Mother and Child Fish, along with some other minor fish species. This haul was greater than what I had accomplished in three years at Newbie Village, yet my Fishing skill only advanced by three levels.
It's conceivable that increasing Fishing levels later on will still prove difficult.
