The vacancy notice worked faster than Grace had expected.
By the next morning, Golden Shine already had two inquiries. One was a phone call asking about working hours, and the other was a young girl who peeked through the glass door but left before entering.
Grace noticed it all but didn’t comment. She preferred observing quietly.
Amber, on the other hand, was visibly excited.
“Do you think today we’ll finally find someone?” Amber asked while arranging the dresses on the rack.
“Let’s not rush,” Grace replied calmly. “We’ll see.”
The bell chimed around noon. Grace looked up from her notebook as a woman walked in. She looked to be in her mid-twenties, dressed neatly, hair tied back in a low ponytail. She held a folder close to her chest.
“Good afternoon,” the woman said politely. “I’m here about the vacancy.”
Grace stood up immediately. “Please come in.”
Amber glanced over, curiosity written all over her face.
