*Several Hours later*
The other matches went as such. In the red quadrant, Pasley managed to win by charming Mayze her opponent into submission. In the yellow quadrant, Dive decimated Lima with a brutal combo, knocking her unconscious and rushing her immediately to medical. Then in an unfortunate event in the Green Quadrant, Matoto lost due to not hitting a girl, allowing his opponent Chaya to beat him unconscious. His final words were "Worth it".
All those who won their match were immediately appointed into what's known as Elite Training to see if they were true Elite material. The recruits were listed as such: Rota, Crimson, Rabi, Turrip, Root, Pasley, Dive, and Chaya. As for the redemption matches. These next matches would give those who lost another chance.
But that's for another time, as things began to set in stone and events would soon begin making their way into the lives of our Saiyan children.
*Okara Residence*
As O'hara is seen running back and forth as fast as possible. Okara is found attempting to meditate and learn how to control his Ki. After seeing Root's victory against Prince Leek. He thought he could do the same and become just as strong.
It was quiet and peaceful as families enjoyed their time together. However, this was quickly interrupted by an unknown guess.
"O'hara! Someone's here to see you!"
As the mysterious figure walks out of the tent, O'hara instantly knows who it is.
"Ah, Auburn, it's a surprise to see you here. What can I help you with?"
"Recruit O'hara, It's good to see you. However, with the current timing of things, I'm afraid I have no choice but to bring you to the royal castle. Due to the orders of the King himself."
O'hara's face turned serious.
"What does he want..."
"I am not allowed to speak on the matter, you are to either come peacefully or we will take you by force!"
Okara and Cress watched from behind as O'hara stood face-to-face with Auburn.
"Once again you are to come peacefully or be taken with force."
"There's no need to get violent. I'll go, under the condition, you leave my family alone."
"Of course O'hara, we were only ordered to come collect you anyway."
As O'hara walks out with Auburn and the rest of the recruits. Cress holds Okara close uncertain of what the future will bring.
*Four Years Later*
Four years have passed since O'hara's disappearance. Okara and his mother Cress still unsure of what happened to him. Causing a disruption in their family. Due to his father's disappearance, Okara was forced to grow up quickly.
Within a mine several clicks towards the north from Okara's residence. A bunch of Saiyan workers are mining away at different types of rocks. While elites roam around making sure they work.
"Hey! You think this is some playground! Stop messin around and get back to work you two!"
An elite shouted at two low classes who were neglecting their work.
"Sorry, sir!" They shouted back.
Okara was amongst this ground of workers and continued mining big boulders with small pickaxes. An elite approaches to watch Okara's progress and notices how far he's gone.
"Hey! You there!"
Okara stopped to wipe his sweat away from his forehead and turned to the shouting elite.
"Yes sir?"
"Why don't you slow down and take a break, save some work for the rest of them."
"Sorry sir, if I may just continue without one that'd be greatly appreciated!"
"Are you nuts? You've been at this for 10 hours straight! Head home, you're done for the day. Don't forget to collect your payment on the way out."
The elite walked away in disbelief... Okara sighed and dropped his pickaxe and walked outta the large tunnel he made.
Other Saiyan workers watching him leave in awe at his massive stamina levels.
As Okara reaches the checkout station he receives his payment.
"Work zone?"
"12"
"Hours of work?"
"10"
The Checkout station guard looks up to examine Okara's work zone and his jaw drops.
"Are you pulling my leg kid?"
"No sir."
The guard looks hesitant, so he activates his scoper for communication with the others.
"Yeah, can I get confirmation on Work zone 12, worker's name is Okara?... Yeah, mhm, got it."
The guard turns off the communication receiver on his scoper and looks at Okara.
"That's pretty impressive kid. So for ten hours, plus the amount of work. You'll get 16 Ryon and 32 Coin."
The guard hands Okara 16 metal pill-shaped rods along with 32 circular coins with holes punched out of the middle of them.
"Thanks."
"Now get outta here already."
Okara pockets his earnings into his green and white Saiyan armor chest plate.
"This should be enough for me and mother to get by the next few moons."
As Okara starts walking up the dirt hill out of the deep mines. He notices someone staring at him from atop it.
"Who the hell is that?"
As Okara reaches the top of the mine he finds himself walking past the stern figure.
"..."
"You're O'hara's kid, Okara... Isn't that correct?"
Okara stopped in his tracks and turned to see no one there. They had vanished instantly.
"Your reaction time is slower than his. Maybe he didn't fully teach you how to master the element of speed."
Okara turned around once more, still no one to be seen.
"Yet It also seems, he never taught you how to access the Animus within your soul. What a shame it is."
"Who the hell are you?!" Okara shouts as he looks around frantically. No one appearing before his eyes. That is until he turned back towards the direction of his home. A tall robed figure stood in front of him, their hood covering their face and hair. However it seemed some of their hair escaped and flowed in the wind. It's white coloration makes this being even more mysterious.
"You're not a Saiyan, I can already tell by the color of your hair... So what the hell are you!"
Okara stared the figure down his eyes keep locked onto it... Until.
"You there! Are you a worker?!"
Okara turned to an elite who had appeared from the mines. Instantly causing him to turn away from the figure.
"N-No sir! I finished my shift a moment ago!"
"Then be on your way, wouldn't want to get mistaken for a slacker!"
"Y-Yes sir!"
Okara turns back towards the figures location, but immediately notices they're missing.
"Who... Or what was that."
