"Today marks the end of the first semester of the year ..." standing at the podium was a slightly chubby man, who also happen to be the Summit University Dean.
Being the last day of the semester, it was unavoidable that every single student from the freshmen to the final year students had to attend this closing ceremony.
It wasn't a ceremony that students liked. After all, these teachers always find ways to torture them with these long and boring speeches when all they want to do is go home and finally be free.
Unfortunately, they didn't have a choice and could only sit there and listen to every single word.
Their school was very strict. Attending the closing ceremony was a must and compulsory. There were points given to students for attending such events, and the opening and closing ceremonies held more points.
So, unless, a student wanted to fail or go on the bad side of the professors and administrators, then skip the ceremony.
