Sean listened with a downcast expression.
He started by being angry and felt rage towards Waylon, who had it all without even trying much.
The girl he fell hard for at first sight didn't have him but thought of Waylon and yet his friend didn't have an ounce of feeling towards Ruby.
That knowledge actually made his heart ache whenever he thought about how hard it was to pursue Ruby.
If it was Waylon who was pursuing Ruby, perhaps she wouldn't have spent months being difficult but would be dating by now.
That difference at times made him feel bitter towards his friend. However, rationality always brings him back. After all, he had grown up with Waylon and despite Waylon hiding his identity, their group had always known. And Waylon was a straightforward person.
If he loves, he loves and if he doesn't, he doesn't fake it.
