Seelima did not let her guard down one bit as the scholarly old man turned to give his introduction, not seeming to be fooled by that warm, harmless smile hanging by the thread of his lips. Rather her gaze seemed to turn more and more hostile with each additional word- her fist becoming clenched and her eyes sharpened- clearly she was incensed by his very presence.
This did not seem to trouble the elderly man however as he simply went on speaking without pause, his warm, radiant gaze still tenderly fixed on her- he was like how one would watch a mischievous child indulging in a fleeting tantrum, with merely a fleeting relevance.
'It seems there is quite a history between them,' The clear difference made Alexander take such a note, as then sent Queen Mother a thoughtful glance, 'I have never seen Seelima lose control of herself like this. I wonder why. She should know better.'
