"Ok, no need to see us out" signaling Daniel he walks out as he contemplates. the sign she just made was what they used to use when they were younger it meant danger. but why did she have to use that why couldn't she say it out loud where they been watched if so then that's trouble, going back to the base is now priority.
walking out the cave he increases he's pace.
"Should we wait for shadow or is there a way to signal him" not knowing their next step Daniel tries to ask.
"No, we're leaving " he says, walking faster than an old man should originally walk.

"he'll meet up with us on our way or in the base, our priority is to return home safely now so move!" he yells getting headache from just the thought if someone from the mage tower was listening to their conversation, a time mage only God knows what action they were gonna take but whatever one he knew that it won't be good for him and her.

hearing his scream before he could retort he's defense rune activates blocking an attack inches away from he's neck. sling. a blade appears and so does the wielder inches away from taking he's life, been blocked by a green rune, getting angry he swings he's staff smashing the ground to bits dust emerges as a throwing blade smashes into the shield again. he dodged that, lucard realizes as he cast a new spell lifting him up the ground. looking from above he catches the crocodile turning invisible. "windrak zodur" casting a spell as wind gathers in the spot the crocodile was, caging it. "Wind blades" he shouts as skillfully controls it to enter the wind prison tearing the crocodile apart.

"aargh" screaming he falls down blood pouring from he's back shoulder as he drops, he's staff, shield broken. "liedru!" he shouts as he lands on the fall. conjuring a wind around him that blocks extra three gunshots
"Fucking mage" the cat screams running out from he's hiding spot as he tries to look for an opening.

running forward his sword glowing as the warrior attacks
"Daniel, now" the old man screams as he grabs, he's staff as glowing runes appear around it. wind rush!
circling him, wind rushes out from all sides pushing back the warrior and cat stopping them from getting closer.
Daniel still in shock slowly calms down, thinking he remembers the spell not caring quickly cast it, this was the actual step he was gonna take into this new world.
"Time stop!" Daniel shouts extending his hand toward the warrior, who was still trying to resist the wind as for the cat, he had been thrown back. the spell hit the warrior as he loses resistance getting thrown into the air, the old man not wasting a second throws a bottle with red like energy mixed with red lightning at him still in the air as the spell wears off unable to react as the bottle smashes into him exploding and throwing Daniel and lucard a mile back. falling he rolls three times as he grunts in pain his head and ear hurting, what the heck was that Daniel thinks as he tries to stand up only to get hit by a White ball, haaaaa! screaming as he checks himself am I dying?
"No, you just devoured something from him, check it out as I finish the cat"
he hears the old man voice as he calms him down, thinking he opens the page.

looking at it he sees some difference. have gained knowledge from devouring but she couldn't remember gaining any memory but looking back to the question it is asking him to open it, but how should he open it he then tries to raise his hand to the screen only he could see as he taps on it.

the old man says looking at Daniel as a white ball enters him. he raises he's hand and taps on the air then the white ball emerges from he's body and evaporates.
wredor, today was his first birthday to be celebrated as it was the day that marked his beginning of the journey of a warrior, he's tenth birthday. He's father got him he's first real sword as a present and the next day he started he's training on he's 17 birthday he passed he's first test in successfully killing a desolate beast. in age 20 he completes the second stage of the sun god cultivation manual. he's ki taking the color of gold been able to insert it into a weapon increasing its endurance and power. the power flowing into him, he could feel it the sun god heart was the first stage then the second stage, sun god veins and the third stage, sun god unbreakable body, then the last stage forming the son god soul.
feeling he's heart beat stronger than ever Daniel could feel the power in it, yes, he, even though he was reliving his life slowly Daniel was able to tear himself from Wredor watching from an omniscient point of view. at the age if 24 a portal opened up in the city already reaching half stage in the second stage he he's father and other warriors battles the invading army fighting with humanoid beast with strengths comparable to gods, getting massacred completely as they only manage to push them back suffering a greater loss, after the war he goes back home only to see he's mother and little sis, crushed under rubble's, broken he cries as also his father just barely alive kills himself, hating and vowing for revenge he goes into the portal only to see the humaniod beast race getting slaughtered by flying ships and metal like warriors not knowing who to fight tries to run back but he's captured, waking up in a mine he is forced to work there for 2 years but finally escapes with some friends and after that they take up the job of a bounty hunter till this day.

Wredor! yes that was he's name, he could remember everything he's memories feelings, he's first crush despair from seeing he's family dead, every single moment of his life could be remembered clearly by Daniel.
"How was it" lucard interrupts getting up

it isn't that bad though, how unlucky your first devour is actually the memory of a whole person life. a lot of people have already lost themselves to that, not been able to tell who they were, leading to mental breakdown, some hating themselves for killing the person they devoured after devouring his or her memory.
