The latter frantically rolled and scrambled to his feet, hurriedly joining the Marine Corps members and mercenaries, hiding inside the skull of the huge gorilla---a skull almost as big as a house, enough to accommodate most of the members. The researchers huddled deep inside, while the Marine Corps and mercenaries grasped their weapons and leaned against the opening, vigilantly watching the surroundings.
Duanmu Huai, Lorena, and Mugeng dispersed around the skull, keeping a sharp eye on the surrounding yellow smoke.
Soon, strange figures emerged from the mist.
