The battle continues.
The unexpected enemy's strength far exceeds expectations, and they don't need to jump galaxies through Mass Effect Relays like the Reapers, so the Tribunal couldn't force them into a direct confrontation by destroying the relays as they had before. As a result, Aikute had to dispatch fleet after fleet to intercept the enemies returning from the galaxy, blocking them outside the galaxy. She was calculating the strength gap between the two sides while positioning to throw everything in at once, but the mechanical fleet was standing in her way.
Aikute was well aware of her task; she needed not to crush the enemy, but to buy time and attract the enemy's attention.
Meaning she must make the enemy feel threatened but not so much that they would run off in desperation.
It had to be said, it was like asking a horse to run and not eat grass.
Especially as the enemy forces were gradually surpassing the Tribunal Fleet.
