Location the XCOM World-Earth, Europe-Unknown ADVENT Blacksite
For 20 years, since the arrival of extraterrestrials, that have managed to crush the special military resistance force, known as XCOM, the Earth is now basically, controlled by the aliens through the puppet ADVENT Administration.
And the greatest soldier to stand against the alien, simply and respectfully addresses as the Commander, who was placed in alien stasis so they could make use of their strategic thinking via a brain implant, rescued by his comrades of the last resistance against ADVENT...XCOM, hasn't fallen yet.
After the Commander is rescued by Central Officer Bradford, XCOM launches a full-on resistance and fight against ADVENT, right now those battles, have been ongoing.
XCOM, has reclaimed much of their stolen planet from ADVENT, sparked the light of hope, and defiance on the hearts of many people.
But ADVENT, it still refuse to submit, and relinquish control over the world that holds the key to preserve not only their lives, but evolve them into greater heights!!
Hence the forces of ADVENT, have fully set upon onto their enemy XCOM, using the various alien creatures on their disposal to fight and kill, their enemies all around the world, along with "collecting" subject for Project Avatar.
The ADVENT Officers, genetically modelled soldiers, that fulfill various roles in battle, and act as the primary troops of ADVENT, the encased in an environment-sealed battlesuit aliens, the Andromedon the heavy-fighters, Archons having a ethereal alien form, with no lower-half of their bodies, fliers with advance weaponry and abilities.
Berserkers, huge hulking aliens living to their name monikers, Chryssalid are arachnid aliens capable slashing and leaping onto their prey, Faceless are changeling, giants resembling melting masses that deal great amounts of damage, and infiltrate the human settlements.
Muton, large humanoid aliens with heavy armor and energy weaponry, Seconds are the classic grey-head and psychic aliens, Vipers anthropomorphic snake aliens, with poisonous abilities, these aliens and more make the bulk of the ADVENT Administration's forces.
Also amongst the ranks of ADVENT are two cybernetic aliens, in their midst, first are the Codex is a mysterious mechanical alien taking on the appearance of a human female with completely golden orange skin, with a featureless face save for a pair of glowing, white eyes, and a black, smoke-like substance flowing out of its head resembling hair.
Their bodies are in a state of continuous flux, constantly appearing and disappearing on the spot, and sometimes creating short-lived, translucent after-images of itself beside it.
Then there's the Gatekeepers, they have a smooth white spherical shell creates the illusion of a mechanical unit, with a yellow core in the center, acting as a eye.
However, inside the shell resides a mass of flesh that reflects the utmost extremes of biomechanical integration.
Those alien were in middle of a massive battle against the XCOM resistance, in a mission on island off the upper European territory, in a huge mountain environment, with some plant life, from trees, bushes, and moss spreading through this mountain range.
As XCOM, has gained Intel that a ADVENT secret facility was in the area, a prime target, especially with the number of ADVENT forces placed on guard in this location ADVENT Officers, Mutons, Chryssalid, and many other alien troops, including summoning codexes from their cyberspace, and gatekeepers to reinforce the facility.
As the codex, they were scouting the perimeter, with blasters at their hands, passing by some Vipers having a similar assignment as these cybernetic aliens, a couple of gatekeepers floating around the facility, with some black and red armored ADVENT soldiers nearby.
This facility of a alien design, mostly in black and red design, while XCOM believes that this secluded facility is about the AVATAR Project, in truth for the last week, ADVENT has been under cyber attack by something unprecedented to them.
None of their xeno-technological advancements, and systems could stop this vicious malware attack, that caused a major crash and delay in not just the Avatar Project, but other subjects that ADVENT has been working on in secret.
Reports also showed, that any mechanical intervention against this malware, has proven disastrous so ADVENT, placed organic subordinates to deal with this problem, hence this facility construction and security.
This Blacksite, was ADVENT last line of defense against this cyber-instrution, even pushing back Project Avatar, in a drastic margin.
All the ADVENT personal...and willing human "subordinates", were working on the red screened and accented, dark colored consoles, within the facility, with guards watching everything.
As a group of the ADVENT troops, the pinkish skinned armored alien, were in the upper level of the facility, watching the humans, desperately fight off this cyberattack.
Code, symbols, and words that none of the aliens or humans understood, flooded their consoles.
The commander of the security force, with red armor, that looks not only more advance bur clearly stronger, his black gloved hand pointed at console screen in the eastern sector of the lower level.
A skull half human, and half robotic resting on a cog, which in turn rested on a weird symbol with eight sharp, barbed points, then underneath this strange symbol, one by one strands of codes, 1 and 0s formed letters, letters that then turned into a name V A S H T O R R.
Then all the machines, screens, and consoles started going completely haywire, sparks of unknown energies not only started to surge out that starting console, and spreading to the other machines in the facility.
As this chaos was happening, another problem arouse, the human resistance has found their blacksite, and was starting their assault on said facility.
Gunfire, laserfire, explosions, and more was happening outside, as the security force outside the facility were engaging XCOM, chryssalid skirring around cover, closing on a Latino assented, grenadier class soldier in heavy armor and weaponry.
Blasting his heavy-artillery cannon, shooting down some heavy red accented, ADVENT Officers, one of these aliens got it's head blown off, while the second officer, was riddled in bullets, some of the cannon fire scrapping some random rock coverage.
A chryssalid, snuck behind the Grenadier, and pierced the man with its claws, deeply causing fatal damage, another side some rookie soldiers, were in the middle of a full-on shootout with more ADVENT troops, and a couple of mutons.
A muton fired his beam weapon, known as a bayonet, hitting and semi-oblirating a Caucasian female soldier, vaporizing her upper-body, from the green blast.
But her teammates avenged her, by taking aim, and shooting a barrage of rapid-fire bullets at the bulking, green armored muton.
A heavy camouflage soldier, a sharpshooter sniper, lied in wait from a long distance, on a high advantage point, taking aim and firing at the xeno enemies.
Having accumulated six confirmed kills already, three ADVENT troops, a muton, and right now a chryssalid that tried to attack a medic or specialist from behind, as the insectoid's head was half blown off, as the red haired, glasses wearing specialist gave a thumbs-up as a thanks.
The sniper, smirked as he'd scooped around for his next target, this being one of the largest battles that XCOM, had been apart of.
The codex were giving supporting fire to their ADVENT allies, and every so often they'd multiply, increasing XCOM's targets, a Gatekeeper, floated forwards into the range of a shotgun armed Ranger, blasting at it.
Only to cause meager damage on the white, sleek frame of the alien, and in return the gatekeeper blasted a condensed, and precise beam, burning through the poor soldier, and even a couple of ADVENT Officers in the line of fire, as this battle was only starting...
[I didn't want to make a quick, corrupt and obtain chapter, and XCOM is one of my fav RPGs, so I decided to make it a bit of a open battle, instead of a condense tactical force like the games. As well a bit more realistic, cause you can be shot by any weapon and not lose some part of the target, I hope ull enjoy, and cya in the next chapter thumbsđź‘Ť]
