"So you're learning French" he asked with one of his eyebrows raised up
"Yes" Lina answered confidently
Dave put his thumb over his lips trying to hide the smile on his lips. Seeing how cute she was and not wanting to burst her bubbles or embarrass her he agreed with her
"Okay if you see so at what level are you??" He asked trying to keep the conversation going
"Did you know 'bonjour' means 'good morning' in French" she said holding her chin with a stupid smile on her face acting like she could have a hundred in a French test at the moment
Dave who could speak French perfectly said
" oh really?? I wasn't aware"
She shake her head from side to side looking like she pitied him for not knowing French
" you should come see me if you ever need any translation in French" she said patting his shoulder
"Okay perfectly understood ma'am" he replied trying to stifle a laugh
"How long have you been learning French??" Dave asked curious and wanting to continue the conversation he just liked the way she was beginning to feel relaxed around him.
"Not much just 6 months but let's say I'm a quick learner" she replied with a proud expression
"So you can speak French fluently" Dave question with one of his brows raised
"Absolutely not" she replied almost instantly with her hands raised up "the French might kill if they hear me speaking their language"
"I thought you said your would teach me French" Dave replied enjoying their senseless conversation with a smile on his face
"I was just trying to brag don't you get it" she replied pushing her hair behind her ears and crossing her arms not feeling the least bit of shame "and duo has been in my neck because I'm not even consistent with my lessons"
"Why learn French??" Dave questioned her
"Well I love the language it sounds so romantic don't you think??" Lina continued with a dreamy expression holding her chin on her palms "and I've always wanted to visit Paris and see the tour Eiffel standing at the highest top with my belove standing behind me and the wind passing through my hair"
Dave's focused his eyes on her not wanting to miss a single expression she was making
'So she wants to bust the Eiffel Tower noted' he made a mental note.
Noticing that Dave was looking at she immediately became flustered and said
"Don't mind me I always spurt rubbish"
"Actually you weren't speaking it's not bad to have dreams or ambitions as long as no one is hurt" Dave replied
At the that moment the car had already reached in front of Lina's house. She went out wanting to thank him for sending her back home, but to get greatest surprise Dave came down from the car and stood in front of her
"Goodbye and thanks for sending me home" she said and turn around walking towards the apartment her family was staying but Dave held her hand.
She turned around and face him silently asking what he wanted. Chris who was sitting close to window reading a book while waiting for his sister to come back looked out of the window and saw a guy holding his sister hand. He remembered it was the same who dropped her sister not too long ago he wanted to go out and checked what was happening but decided against it because it looked like the guy had something serious to tell his sister so he just stood there observing.
Meanwhile Lina was curious and nervous to hear what Dave wanted to tell. She wasn't even aware that she was feeling nervous
"Lina I want to you to be my girlfriend" Dave said looking calm on the surface but only him knew how nervous he was feeling
