It had been months since they had agreed to communicate with each other more openly. However, with how busy they were, they did not really have many chances to speak with each other as much as they pleased.
Ferdinand eyed his wife, wanting to know her honest thoughts.
"It's okay. I understand why you have your doubts. But I want you to know that my feelings are true. I may not have liked you in the past, but I do now. Very much so. And I promise I'll head to Estrella with you after our time here. This one promise, I swear I won't ever break it."
Arabella looked so sincere and determined when she said such words.
There was no room for doubt this time.
"Yes, thank you. I believe you, and I'm quite selfish, so I'll hold you to this promise. I won't ever let you take it back, even if someday you change your mind and want to back out."
They say feelings may change through time, but Ferdinand would no longer allow hers to change.
