Chapter 131: Anticipation
RAIKAGE POV
After they drew away from the war with Konoha Shinobi, Third Raikage had called all the medical ninja who are still in the village to go to the frontline to treat those who are wounded.
Talk about those who are heavily Injured, Raiken are really blood thirsty when dealing with an enemy Village, some of them had lost their limb, some only received a light injury that are treatable.
So those medical shinobi are given a job to treat those who they can save, not all medical ninja had the ability like Senju Tsunade. Some can only treat light wound, so Raikage asked them to chose which one they wanted to save first.
But the one who they need to treat are those who are in danger, while some shinobi who had lost their limbs thanks to Raiken, were given Healing Scroll Level 3, this thing were bought with the help of Merchant before the war even began. Thanks to that, they are many people who they manage to save.
Currently, it is impossible to buy level 3 healing scroll anymore because when the war begin, all the scroll were sold directly to Konoha Shinobi who their names are on the list to go to war and not just that, they even got 50% discount for healing scroll level 3.
"You will do honorary thing by defending the people who live this village, so we won't overcharge you," said the staff from Uzumaki Clan when they were asked why they got a huge discount.
While those who are in tight budget, Raiken gave them Buy Now Pay Later option, but his buy now pay later option won't affect their family.
If they die on the line of duty, then the debt would be waived and the best thing there is no interest. They can only redeem only one healing scroll using buy now pay later option, he afraid some smart people would become a scalper and sell this healing scroll with higher price.
But if there is only one Healing Scroll, they will appreciate the scroll more and use it for war. Thanks to Raiken who had give a huge discount, many shinobi from Konoha survived in the war.
Raikage can only grumbled when hearing that the healing scroll level 3 have ran out and they didn't have any extra stock to sell it.
Now they didn't have many healing scroll to survive like before but this time third Raikage would finish enemy as fast as possible.
They are not just going to give up just because they ran out of healing scroll and this wasn't even an excuse on why they take a few days before they finally attacked Konoha Shinobi again.
Third Raikage were delayed because they got intelligence that the other village are still not ready for war. His advisor also told them to wait for the other village to attack first, if they are launching the attack to early then all the Konoha Shinobi reaction would be on this place.
Even if Raikage are strong enough and can tank multiple people, face tail beast head on and almost killed the Hokage but he doesnt want the war win with the loss of many of his people.
He still remembered the last time when he was forced to fall back because of Raiken, he single handedly crippled the entire Kumogakure.
Raikage had tried to kill Raiken but he was fast enough to evade his attack. His teleportation jutsu are broken even against the speed user like him.
So Raikage didn't want repeat the same mistake, believing him to be superior than others. He listen to his advisor suggestion and finally they received a news that other village had also started to regroup and wanted to attack for a second time.
Their only response. "Raikage, you attack first and we will attack after you guys fo first."
His people had already been healed, most of them can walk normally after using the scroll healing level 2. Unfortunately those same scroll had ran out and they didn't have anymore healing scroll to treat their injury in the future.
Raikage had no more excuse to delay the war and directly ordered his people to attack the shinobi in th Land Of Fire. He also put the same condition that only Minato got during the war in the series, whoever meet Minato they can escape and won't be punished because of it.
Now the same rules apply but it only towards Raiken, whoever meet him on the battle won't be punished if they ran away from the fight.
Raikage who had faced him knows well that not even his people can deal with Raiken.
So Raikage had planned earlier that he wanted to face Raiken.
He alone would face Raiken and the others can flee or focus on other enemy. While he is ennjoying beating them up.
"Raikage sama we have arrived," reported the new Jonin commander.
"Ok remember what I had said earlier, focus on those who you can fight and I alone would fight with that red hair Uzumaki," reminded Raikage.
"We will Raikage sama," thousands of Shinobi roared at the same time.
He dashed out leaving a blur behind.

Raiken POV
It has been several days since the war had stopped for a while and now they are ready to go back to the battlefield after hearing the news that Kumogakure Shinobi started to invade the land of fire again.
Raiken being here give a morale support for the rest of Shinobi, some a new troops also heard a rumor from the survivor on what Raiken did to protect them.
They also have heard that Third Hokage are heavily injured while fighting Raikage, only Raiken sama who are not just survive but he also manage to save the others from being killed.
The proof is when out of nowhere they have a new fourth Hokage, indicating the story about Hokage being beaten and heavily injured are the truth.
Now, instead of feeling scared they feel excited wanted to see first hand how powerful Raiken sama during the war
