The man was giving him something no one else gave him when he needed it most. Hiroshi was not protecting him against a stranger. He was standing against his brother to protect him.
Hiroshi was choosing him over Aki's desire to vent. He was choosing him above the desire of his brother to avenge him.
Aki was not a bully who wanted to hurt him for fun. Aki's action was done for Hiroshi yet Hiroshi had prevented it from happening.
His smile brightened. At that moment, a thought passed through his mind. He thought of how he might be able to destroy the world for Hiroshi if that was something he wanted.
If he could not do it with the power he had, he would acquire that much power and do it. Warmth flooded his heart even with the pain caused by Hiroshi's tightening grip around his wrist.
"I am sorry," Aki's apology broke the heavy silence.
