Watching Odin and Mimir appear from the other side of the gate alongside Azazel, both Adam and Eve looked at the three with slight trepidation.
"How…was it?" the latter asked, her fists slightly clenched. "Did the conversion method work?"
"Well…" Spending a bit of time to catch his breath, Odin eventually looked at Eve and gave her a wry smile. "It didn't work."
"It didn't?" Eve raised her eyebrow in slight surprise. "I'm pretty sure all of us here confirmed that the ratios and factors used in the conversion method were ideal for the creation of aether."
"That… was indeed the case." Mimir nodded at those words, a bitter smile on his face. "However, once we tried using the method back at our universe, we found out that the ratios and factors needed for the conversion to happen didn't line up with the figures we got."
"What did you do, then?" asked Adam, his gaze sweeping across the three.
