Now wait just a fucking second, wasn't he supposed to send out a Geodude first? Ah shit now I can't depend on anime knowledge, or I just pissed him off enough that he wants to sweep me with his Onix. I'm gonna choose the latter because I'm fucked if its the former.
Buizel didn't seem to give shit, I even told him to expect a Geodude but he doesn't seem phased.
"You've raise that Buizel well, it's a very rare pokemon Kanto." said Brock. "But if you think having the type advantage is all you need to win then you are sorely mistaken." he said as he called for Onix to use Sandstorm. Oh fuck...
The sandstorm not only raises Onix's special defense but also damages Buizel while making it harder for us to see, where the hell was all this when he got wrecked by Ash?
"Buizel close in with a Quick Attack!" I called out, with the sandstorm up I need to stay close to have a good shot to hit Water Gun.
"Onix use Rock Throw." countered Brock.
"Maneuver around it, go Buizel!" I called out, Buizel cancelled Quick Attack and used its tail to slap the rocks off their trajectory while weaving past other rocks. Buizel restarted Quick Attack right after and appeared right in front of Onix.
Brock stared completed shocked with his jaw on the floor.
"How is a Buizel moving like that after 1 week for training?!" he asked in sheer confusing and puzzlement.
"Buizel use Water Gun." I shouted out with a smirk on my face, the Water Gun hit Onix at point blank dealing some good damage.
"That Buizel of yours has been trained to move like a monster, I have definitely underestimated you." said Brock as a smile worked up to his face, that smile makes me feel that shit is gonna hit the fan real quick.
"Onix use Curse." excuse me what the fuck?
Onix used curse to raise its attack and defense, combined with the sandstorm buff and Buizel and me are in some extra deep shit.
"Buizel use Sonic Boom!" I commanded, the sandstorm buffered the Sonic Booms enough that Onix could take the attack like it did nothing.
"Onix use Rock Throw one more time." called Brock, the rocks this time came much faster and hit harder. Buizel could barely dodge two rocks before getting blasted back by the other three.
Buizel had a massive bruise forming on his chest that was turning purple, shit this is not what I was expecting for this gym battle. WHY IS BROCK THIS STRONG?! I should have listened to both Nurse Joy and Flint when they said not to underestimate Brock.
I've gotta to do something about the sandstorm, fuck this sweep I was trying I need every advantage I can get.
"Buizel return!" I recalled Buizel, I needed to reset the tempo of this battle.
"Go Teddiursa, use Rain Dance!" I exclaimed, this sandstorm needs to be stopped as fast as possible. Brock's eyes went as wide as they could while being closed due to my play.
The sand stopped and rain drops started to pelt the rocky battle field, I let out a sigh of relief at finally being able to stop his onslaught. Now lets get some offence in with Teddiursa and then switch back to Buizel.
"Onix use curse one more time!" called out Brock, oh fuck this isn't going to end well.
"Use Play Rough, Teddiursa!!" I shouted, to which the little honey bear was covered with a pink aura and sprinted right at the Onix. Teddiursa has trained enough to not go down to a single attack so I can switch him out if shit hits the fan. That was my though process till I saw a grin on Brocks face. COME ON GIVE ME A BREAK MANNN.
"Onix use Bind!" said Brock, the gigantic rock snake started choking out my little bear, the Play Rough didn't even connect for god sake.
"Squeeze it unconscious Onix!" Brock you heartless bastard stop murdering Teddiursa!
"Teddiursa use Counter!" I shouted which made Brock fall to the floor, he has an expression that practically screamed 'What the fuck did you just say?'.
Due to the two curses Onix used the damage Bind is doing is a lot, this also means Counter did a shit ton of damage back to Onix! Teddiursa looks like he's about to pass the hell out so I try to return him but it fails?
"Bind stops a pokemon from switching out." said Brock with a smug look, I may have damaged Onix a lot now but I was royally screwed.
Teddiursa stopped moving and passed out due to the Bind crushing to poor guy unconscious. I return Teddiursa, you did a good job buddy Buizel will take us home now. With that I send Buizel back out who revels in the rain pouring down.
"Buizel close in with a Quick Attack and finish this with a Water Gun." with that Buizel blasted off faster than ever, his Swift Swim ability allowed him to reach insane levels of speed. Even Brock seemed shocked at how fast Buizel moved, only I know that Buizel can't control that level of speed yet.
Buizel arrived onto Onix's head in the blink of an eye and delivered a devasting Water Gun right to the horn on its head. Onix was blasted back and fell onto the ground, whereas Buizel jumped off Onix and landed away cleanly.
There now we are even, Buizel can finish off Geodude and we can still win this god damn battle!!
Then the god damn rock snake started struggling to get up, but it did get up through sheer will power.
"Onix you did well, finish up your shift with Sandstorm." SON OF A BITCH!!
Onix used Sandstorm and fell as soon as the storm began, judging by the smile on his face he fucking knows Buizel doesn't know Rain Dance! It's alright though, we cans still take out a Geodude with the sandstorm up.
"Let us finish this battle Rhyhorn!" said Brock as he sent out his last pokemon.
...I'm fucked.
