I had been asleep, lost in a dream. A dream about Leo, again. I was shameless, but I had no control over my subconscious while I dreamt. When Leo had tapped on my bare shoulder, I thought it was merely a part of my dream. That was until I heard him saying my name, just above a whisper.
There had been a part of me that wished I could have remained within my dream. Seeing Leo inside my room in the middle of the night confused me at first. Thoughts of all the possibilities of why he was hovering over me while I slept in my bed flooded my mind. All of which didn’t end up being the case.
Leo had woken me up to tell me he had taken care of Matteo. Again, I had felt confused. What does that even mean? Taken care of? In what way?
“What do you mean you took care of him? How?” I asked, sitting up as I rubbed the sleep from my eyes.
