Days pass and leave behind a strange new normal.
Early in the morning, Abaddon stared out his bedroom window and stared across his lawn.
There was a second house on his property now. A simple, one-story home with a cobblestone pathway woven between the two.
As for why… he couldn't say.
Eternity was an odd character. In some moments, he was serious, and in others, he was just plain hard to understand.
Abaddon thought that, since he wanted to experience mortal life so badly, he would travel everywhere else but here and they could have him out of their hair.
But in the same way that Oblivion is always at the end of one's path, time was all-encompassing from conception to the end of the universe.
Eternity was technically seeing and experiencing many things from the comfort of the rocking chair on his porch.
It was still early now. But at exactly 6:30, Eternity would come sit on his porch and stare at the house.
