Emilia was absolutely furious, her face contorting with rage as she began hitting him with a heavy broomstick. "Auntie Meli, sorry. I'm really sorry," he cried, dropping to his knees to beg for forgiveness on the cold kitchen floor. "I'm sorry!"
"Sorry?! Sorry?! Will your sorry help us fix that plate?!" She shouted angrily, bringing the wooden broomstick down on his trembling arm once again with a sickening crack. "It's expensive!"
"I will glue them back. The teacher said we can stick things with glue."
