Even with his excellent acting skills, Evan nearly dropped his facade of cold-blooded Azroth when he heard Turoon's words.
He stared at him for a few seconds before nodding indifferently.
"Suit yourself. It will save me a few seconds of time."
Turoon's eyes gleamed slightly upon hearing Evan's response.
'A few seconds... Doesn't that mean even if I don't side with him, he has a way to kill both of us in less than a minute?'
As this thought came to Turoon's mind, he couldn't help but feel relieved that he had made the right decision by siding with Evan.
He did not doubt Evan's claim of killing both of them in a few seconds, as Azroth's reputation was simply too great.
Since Turoon assumed Evan was Azroth, and he had said he could kill both of them in seconds, it definitely meant he could.
