The start of the invasion
The Shadow People had just started their invasion. The Ninth Realm had the Sects trying to keep all of the civilians from getting involved.
The women and children were all placed in buildings with too much light. Their shadows were too weak to contain any of the Shadow People.
This was proven by the Shadow King. It took him using everything he could to just enter their shadows because of the power of his cloak.
As for the Sect disciples got their shadows upgraded by the Royal Knights. They were protected for the first couple of days.
Some of the newly appointed disciples were forced to guard the civilian people. This upset them until the realization came about their families being in the civilian people.
They helped their families first be comfortable during this time. This was normal even for the normal civilian people to know.
Explosions rocked around the buildings with the civilians and mothers held their children close. It did not matter if they were young adults or newborn babies. The mothers wanted their children to feel safe.
As for Rex, he was currently surrounded by Iris, Granter, and Frulen. Their bodies almost touching each other trying to keep Rex out of the War.
Rex knew that this would be the last Realm to either be safe or conquered. He stood up awaiting for the response for the quickness of the response of the other Realms.
An hour later, both the Third and Fourth Realms were safe. The Demon Realm was in negotiations to either be conquered or safe.
To hear from the other Realms, Rex needed Lilith. It was not because he did not trust the other women from the Forbidden Worlds but he needed to hear directly from his wives to ensure their safety.
He asked from Frulen to see how Luna was doing. When Frulen asked Luna how she was doing. The response was terrible.
"We have too many hiding spots and once one is taken down. Twenty more have gone into hiding. Although, we can tell where they currently are. It is still extremely hard to keep from killing some of them due to their weak nature."
Frulen repeated word by word what Luna said. Rex was curious as to why some were weaker and by proximity some would be stronger.
In the end of the second hour, the first death of a disciple happened. It was a shock to the other disciples because this person was too sneaky and able to hide on top the shadow of the disciple.
The strike caught the disciple by surprise and when other disciples saw how he had been stabbed. They furiously began to attack their opponents.
The death of the Shadow People began as well. When a couple more disciples got free they helped kill the Shadow Person who stabbed their comrade and friend.
They helped their friend pass away peacefully. His tears rolled down has he finally had passed. The disciples roared in anger has the death had finally come.
The first day ended with a few more deaths on both sides but no one really wanted to truly kill by the time noon had come around.
The night was slightly peaceful. Rex knew that tomorrow he would have to fight. He asked Lilith to call his other women. She happily obliged this showed that he truly cares for those he calls his own.
The others were happy to hear not only from Lilith but from Rex himself. The laughs of the night started to die down and he fell asleep happily after talking to everyone.
Lilith made sure that Frulen and Granter knew how much the other women truly cared for Rex.
Granter and Frulen both accepted the fact that Rex was truly loved by the women he was around. Yes, some of them were not the most pleasant of entries.
For the most part, they just accepted that Rex would always be that man to be there. When he truly accepted the fact that women would always flock towards him.
That day would allow not only Granter and Frulen, but other women to be able to stay by his side. For now, they decided to sleep and enjoy the night with Rex because tomorrow would be another rough day and a lot more deaths within the Ninth Realm.
