Has Cruto and the ones following entered a room that had a look of Do Not Disturb on the door. A scene that even Deathholder did not know of widen his eyes.
Sitting before them was a woman who had cat-like features and a guardian who stood beside her. The woman seemed displeased with Cruto but what made the scene so remarkable was that it looked like the arena in the past.
Deathholder knew it was his mostly his decision to change the arena and found that the old did have a charm to it that he could not tell. Aina went around almost dazed by how the smell in air was so clean.
Cruto had bowed before the woman and Rex looked her dead in the eyes. She was the one to feel afraid because it was indeed the Demon King standing before her.
"I am displeased with you Cruto. However, I have to admit I do feel afraid with the Demon King actually standing in my humble abode." The woman spoke.
Rex looked at her as if she was trying to do something under his watch. She just gently smiled and stood up giving him her chair. Before standing right where Rex was and felt that this was indeed a better setting for the Demon King.
"May I know why you sir came in with Cruto?" She was genuinely curious.
"Cruto asked us to follow him. I do not know if he truly intended to bring us here first or not. I will say this, this chair is quite comfortable."
The woman was thankful that her chair was liked by Rex. She was displeased with Cruto still bringing them here.
"As far as you are concerned, tell us why you brought them here?" The woman spoke.
Rex saw the angered look in her eyes. He was not in a position to tell her not to get angry but wanted to see what would happen before interrupting this moment.
"I came here to show them the artifact I have been hiding. You are usually not around and I did not think you were going to be here now. I am truly sorry." Cruto spoke honestly.
Rex could tell that he was being at least partially truthful even with his head bowed. Cruto had not yet raised his head. The woman was certain that was the real reason why Cruto brought them in but it was still foolish of him to do so.
"I will let you raise your head. I hate people who truly are weak. At least you know why you are weak. I did move your artifact, so either way you would have to bring them here with me either way.
I cannot say I am not at fault either. I will help you at least be able to make an arm to be usable around me. Is that alright?" The woman asked.
"As long as the arm is locked away where he cannot get it. I am fine as long as he does not exit with it, and I will have jailers posted close by and without uniform to ensure that whenever he enters he exits without that arm." Rex told her.
She was glad that Rex was truly able to listen to reason. Even Cruto, felt that he did not deserve this much leeway and was given some.
"Now, I have a bath time to uphold and Cruto cannot be washing me. Will you do the honors Demon King?" She asked.
Rex looked at her and decided to help this time because it was his fault that Cruto could not help.
"Cruto, come in and ensure that the Demon King uses the correct wash on my body." She told him.
Cruto agreed without a second thought. Even Rex was stunned at how much she trusts Cruto. He also wondered if it was because of different Qi that wash can be used differently.
She opened a door and asked Aina if she too wanted to bathe. Aina agreed without a second thought. Even though Rex was going to be washing her, Aina needed to ensure that nothing else happened out of the ordinary.
When the four of them walked through the door. They appeared at a large lake filled with different herbs and strange looking trees.
"I am from a different world. I heard through grapevines that you saved several other worlds already. I wish you had been born just a little sooner and helped save mine.
However, I was able to change a little of my bath to the memories of my childhood here. The herbs and trees are always the same and do not change even if I grow older. So let me ask you Demon King, do you think that other worlds will also perish with just a single threat like the Shadow People now in submission?"
Rex was stunned at this question. Sure, he had fought against them and had to use everything he had to fight them. Sure, he had made the mistake of fighting against the creature holding back the Shadow People because it needed Faerie Life.
Hearing the words now, Rex was truly unsure of what to answer with. He ultimately decided to ensure that if a world could be saved he would at least try to do.
"If there are any worlds that need to be saved. I will try to save them. If I cannot, well then I was or am not able to. I also believe that my wives will one day be able to journey across the universe where they will safely learn new things and be able to do more miraculous things."
The woman smiled widely as she heard Rex. Aina even though not a Soul Mate yet felt bubbly in her stomach from Rex's sweet words.
The woman transformed into a Fenrir and jumped straight into the middle of the lake her paws not touching the bottom but she was as long as the lake itself.
Cruto got to work making the lotion from the herbs close by. When it was ready, he motioned for Rex to follow.
The first part went unto her tail making the smell more floral and it angered the woman.
"CRUTO! WHY DOES MY TAIL SMELL LIKE FLORAL?" Her angered voice echoed.
