Third Person POV
Konoha, 43.
...
...
Every citizen of Konoha was quite agitated upon seeing the enormous island hovering close to the village.
At the same time, the ground began to tremble. Tsuna and Hanabi had been relocated to the forest by Minato and began shaping the terrain with their jutsu, while it opened up, creating a perfect mold to fit the island.
However, because the island was gigantic, the entire region was being affected as the hole was created by the two users of the Earth element, whose chakra easily surpassed even that of Kages, reaching bijuu-levels at this moment.
Travelers and shinobi were pushed away from the area for safety by an order from the Hokage, prevented from approaching while the process was not finished. It was not an enemy, but something even more significant: allies who were now officially becoming members of the village by extension, while others among them were returning to their old home, Konoha itself.
The fitting was perfect. The blue dragon in the sky, which also drew a great deal of attention for being the first dragon any soul within Konoha had ever seen, began to lower its clouds as the island descended at a slow yet safe pace. Several residents watched curiously, pointing at the immense mass of floating land as it approached the ground.
Little by little, the island was carefully guided by Guren and firmly fit into the sculpted land, producing a roar throughout the entire region, nearly deafening and causing everything within it to shake slightly. Even some mountains had been removed by the girls so that it would be possible to accommodate an entire country.
Minato stood with his arms crossed at one end of the island, monitoring the entire process, when Masaki and Mu Uzumaki approached, accompanied by a few other elders.
"We are ready. Let's go," the leader of the Uzumaki clan said, while observing the scenery ahead. Forests and the Leaf Village soon after.
"Let's go then." Minato said and called his wives.
Kushina, Tsuna, Hanabi, and Mikoto also joined them, forming a group that headed out to meet the village leaders and have a brief conversation before entering the village and making everything official.
Even so, the structure that would be given to the village with the integration of the Uzumaki clan had already been widely discussed, both with Minato and the councilors, as well as with him, the elders, and the leader of the Uzumaki clan. Everyone agreed to all the terms, as they were quite fair to both sides.
Minato led the group toward the village gates, where Sakumo was waiting for them, accompanied by the ANBU, the administrative team, and his councilors.
"It's been a while," Sakumo said to Minato with a smile, joking about the fact that they had met just the day before.
Minato and the Uzumaki elders spoke briefly with the village leaders as they headed toward the official building.
"So you're not going with them?" Mikoto asked curiously, watching them walk away after a few exchanges of words and conversations. Minato made it clear that he would not accompany them, but would go later to see how the meeting was going.
"It's not necessary. We already made everything very clear yesterday. I'll let them talk and sign the official documents. I'd like to go to our house first," Minato said to his Uzumaki wife.
Mikoto nodded and could not help but look at her father's back, as his eyes remained on his daughter the entire time, showing a certain reluctance.
She would have to meet with him at another time.
They stayed at the village entrance for a while, listening to the crowd of people that followed, flooding the streets to see the Uzumakis' entry into Konoha, as well as Minato's return. However, he was somewhat reluctant, because those same people had been cowardly when it came to helping the Uzumakis. He hoped that some of the resentment he had created within himself because of the vote would change with time, since it was inevitable that he would feel that way.
In any case, Konoha did not seem to have a problem with the changes, and Minato had already signed all the papers regarding his return as a ninja of Konoha at yesterday's first meeting, in addition to officially documenting all his wives and children as citizens of the village once again, all as members of the Namikaze clan, by far the most powerful clan in Konoha.
So they changed their route and headed elsewhere, avoiding the main street.
What felt strange now was seeing his old house once again. They approached, walking through the streets of that part of the village, not failing to observe the surroundings, passing through paths he had not walked for a long time.
People's gazes turned toward them, many recognizing them immediately, but they did not stop to talk to anyone. They simply continued to that corner of the village, where the gate that still did not bear the clan symbol stood. The Namikaze residence sign was still there.
It was possible to see the tall grass in the area when Minato opened the gate. His companions followed him inside, observing the vast grounds.
The house was ready; it had already been so when they decided to leave Konoha.
"It's as beautiful as I remember… I can't believe we never had the opportunity to live here yet," Kushina murmured.
"Yes. It was quite a lot of money spent. And to think that, in the end, I didn't even need to spend that much to build it..." Minato commented with a certain regret as he remembered the amount of ryō he had spent. "I mean, now it makes sense, since we have a Wood Style user in the family..."
Minato noticed the piercing look beside him as the woman mentioned crossed her arms. "So now you think of me as a walking construction crew, someone who builds houses? Where is the respect for your wife?" she complained.
Minato smiled to the side when he saw her sulk, forming a slight pout. "Anyway, you shouldn't have brought our children," she muttered, still with her arms crossed, maintaining the pout.
"Oh, so that's what you think of your husband? That he's just a walking means of transportation?" he mocked in response.
She looked away.
"He got you there," Mikoto laughed.
Minato shrugged and disappeared, reappearing the very next moment with two children in his arms.
"Here they are," he said, handing the pair of babies to their respective mothers.
"Well, we already know where our rooms will be, since the ones we had were decided a long time ago in this place," Kushina commented curiously. "But what about the children?"
"Well, first I'd like to leave one room vacant just for babies, like an official nursery next to ours... After all, we don't know how many children we'll have in the future," Minato replied.
What he proposed was logical: a nursery next to the main bedroom would be more suitable, allowing them to take care of the babies and hear any of their cries.
There were several places they wanted to visit now that they had returned to the village, but they ended up staying there for the rest of the day, taking advantage of the time to organize everything. Minato needed to buy furniture urgently if they wanted to start living there that very night. Even so, he had many ideas and ended up using Tsuna's own Mokuton to create various pieces of furniture, which greatly facilitated things, even replacing the old ones, which were not ugly but already worn out, and Tsuna made more beautiful things.
Tsuna practically became an artisan, creating refined wooden details as she worked. What irritated her was the fact that Minato had influenced her to do this kind of thing, but she gave in.
"See, Kushina, from what I'm seeing, Tsuna won't go hungry. She can open her own furniture shop," Hanabi commented with good humor, something she had acquired in recent months since awakening her power. Which irritated the girl of the Senju clan.
To everyone, Hanabi's eyes had changed completely. They were no longer white and opaque, without discernible iris or pupil. Now, she had an iris that was bluish with a glow, capable of competing even with Gojo's Six Eyes. It was an extremely beautiful eye, which made the girl even more beautiful.
Certainly, the Hyūga who were at the gate and those who saw them walking through the village to get there had clearly noticed her eyes; after all, Hanabi should be a major topic for the clan. Now, they were probably reporting to the clan that there was something wrong with the eyes of the girl from the branch family who managed to leave the clan.
Minato did not know exactly what the current situation of her clan was, but some things had certainly changed. Hiashi should not yet have fully assumed the position of leader, and the breaking of Hanabi's and her grandfather's seals had certainly altered something within the branch family.
In any case, that was a matter for later.
Minato observed the grounds more carefully. There were training fields within his property. Perhaps he would build some statues at the entrance, after organizing the whole place and clearing the excess weeds.
'Maybe I should build the story of the Six Paths with statues, or the fight against his mother... That would certainly irritate Black Zetsu,' Minato thought, amused by the idea.
If Black Zetsu knew that Minato had knowledge about him and about his mother, he would abandon everything to try to kill him in every possible way, and might even hide Nagato's Rinnegan.
Thinking about the Rinnegan led him to think about Nagato at that moment. Minato had certain plans for the boy. He did not want him to become what he knew was his destiny. He would change that, just as he would also change Obito's destiny. For that reason, he did not wish to assume any leadership position in the village.
First, he would form a team. He wanted to train his own students, pass his knowledge on to the new generation. It was a feeling Minato had acquired over time.
He believed that every ninja should think this way as they grew older: having their own students. He had already talked about this with his wives, and some of them also had that intention. Hanabi and Mikoto, for example, wanted to form their own teams.
Minato knew they would be fine, even with enemies like Madara. They would be safe on their own, after all, few people could pose a great danger to their level of strength, and even so, he could reach them if they were in danger.
The current configuration of his family was as follows:
Tsuna intended to work at the hospital, helping to improve her mother's dream within Konoha's medical corps.
Kushina showed interest in working in the area of fūinjutsu, perhaps within the village itself or even in something connected to the Uzumaki clan.
Hanabi still wanted to remain active as a battlefield ninja.
Mikoto would also continue going on missions and into battle, along with her team.
It seemed like a very solid plan for the coming years. It still remained to be seen whether a Third Ninja War would happen. The nations would certainly be on alert with his presence. His return to Konoha already caused an impact, and rumors about Mokuton and even about Hanabi's eyes would certainly spread.
They were no longer the same war powers. And if Mikoto ever had to use her complete Susanoo at some point, that would also leave the other nations terrified. The Four Great Nations would not attempt anything in that state; they would need absurd confidence to fight against the Namikaze family.
These thoughts led him to the next steps of the future. Minato had conflicting feelings regarding Kaguya. To him, she was a fool for believing that by turning the entire world into White Zetsus, she would have enough strength to face the Ōtsutsuki clan.
At the same time, Minato wanted to believe that she could become an ally in some way. No one would be better suited to provide information about these possible enemies of the future than the very being sealed on the Moon. However, for that, Minato would need to gather the bijū, something he did not wish to do. After all, he had promised Kurama that their son would be born so that one day they would unite them again, something that was still far off, and that, in the future, he would free them when those enemies were no longer a problem.
There were so many things to think about that Minato preferred not to delve into them at that moment, or he would end up with his head far too full.
In any case, he turned his attention back to his wives, who were debating the house's decoration in the dining room. All four were quite active. Hanabi spoke little, but always suggested pinkish tones here and there. Kushina wanted a more reddish decoration. Tsuna preferred green, while Mikoto, without any surprise, wanted everything in black.
"And how about a bit of yellow?" Minato suggested, approaching. He certainly was not serious; he hated such colors for house decoration.
They all looked at him with grimaces.
"Clearly not," they said in unison.
Minato laughed, not minding it much. He did not have much intention of fighting over decoration, but he still had his opinion.
"Whatever you choose, do something discreet and beautiful. Harmonious and cozy, you know? Nothing that looks like a festival, understood?" That was the only thing he said, as he grabbed something to eat.
They nodded and went to the safe to separate a few things.
At night, they left the house. Minato checked on the situation with Sakumo, the councilors, and the Uzumakis a little later, and everything was fine. The documents had been signed and, officially, the Uzumaki clan was now part of the Leaf Village. Even though they lived beside the village itself, they had strong defenses against invaders.
As the night went on, Minato took his wives to walk around Konoha once more. It had been a long time since he had visited some places, and now was the time.
Ichiraku Ramen was, without a doubt, one of them, with Kushina openly celebrating the idea of going there. She missed eating that particular food.
