He thrust both hands forward, and from his palms erupted twin streams of refined chaos energy. The streams struck the distorted reality that Angelina, Eradarin, and Oceana had created, and for a moment the two forces were perfectly balanced.
Then Angus pushed harder.
The chaos began to corrupt the spell, infiltrating it, rewriting it from within. The impossible shapes started to collapse, turning back on their casters. Angelina, Eradarin, and Oceana felt their own magic rebounding, the force they had gathered now threatening to consume them.
"Break the connection!" Eradarin shouted.
"Release the spell before it—"
But Angus didn't give them the chance. He advanced through the collapsing reality distortion, his transformed body simply ignoring effects that should have torn him apart. His elongated hands reached out and struck each of the three remaining legends in rapid succession.
