The chamber was clearly dedicated to healing.
Raised platforms, similar to beds but made of shaped living wood, occupied various alcoves around the perimeter. Each alcove was partially screened by curtains of what appeared to be woven light rather than fabric. Shelves lined the walls between alcoves, holding containers of various sizes—some crystal, some wood, some fashioned from materials Angelina couldn't identify—presumably containing medicines and healing compounds.
But what drew the eye most powerfully was the center of the chamber, where a circular pool of water reflected the ambient light. The water was absolutely clear, and its surface was so still it looked like polished glass.
Around the pool's edge, intricate runes were carved into the stone border, each one glowing with a soft blue-green luminescence.
Several elves were already present in the chamber, all wearing robes similar in shades of pale green and silver that marked them as healers.
