"The ship on the other side is coming!! Everyone, get ready! Watch out for pirates boarding!!" Standing on the deck, Deep shouted loudly to his subordinates.
He couldn't help but raise his voice—by now, the whole sea had turned into a chaotic battlefield. The fleet, as expected, had already been entangled by some fast-moving pirates.
The only reason they've managed to hold out this long was entirely because the enemy had no leader to follow.
When everyone saw the Sodoma pirates charging at them, they all thought they were done for. But, for some unknown reason, the pirate leaders didn't move either—the ship just stopped where it was, motionless.
Now, none of the pirates would listen to anyone else. That gave them just a sliver of breathing room.
Watching that menacing prow charging straight for them, Lily, manning the deck gun, squeaked in alarm. The barrel spun to aim, and she fired at the ship practically within arm's reach.
