"What's our current speed?" Charles asked, his eyes fixed on the sea chart in the cockpit.
"Fifteen knots, Captain," Krona reported, eyes shining as he turned to Charles with a question.
"Captain, after this voyage, we should get a long break, right? Since you've already taken a Living Island, my goal's met too. I want to take some leave and head back to Volcanic Island—to bring my family over."
"Sure. When the Light God Sect arrives, you can go back with their ship. Once I've settled things up top, I'll send someone to fetch you down," Charles replied.
Krona gripped the helm, looking at Charles's back, hesitating to speak.
"If you've got something to say, just spit it out. Don't beat around the bush."
"Captain, if the Land of Light really exists, you're not staying with us on Hope Island, are you?"
Charles cast him a glance but said nothing, continuing to examine the sea chart on the wall.
