Looking at Kede's odd mumbling, Charles didn't feel like dealing with him anymore. He turned around and walked toward the people standing like wooden posts nearby.
He snatched the binoculars out of the Second Officer's hands and knocked him on the head with them. "You're really something, you know. Out of everyone in the world, you're probably the first guy to point binoculars at the sun."
"Captain, th-that... what is that thing?" Krona stuttered, pointing at the sky.
"The sun, what else could it be?"
Charles shoved the binoculars back into his arms, squatted down, grabbed the unmoving white mouse on the ground, and started rubbing it in his hands. "Stop staring, or you'll end up a blind mouse."
"Mr. Charles, is that your home up there? Is that the place with the TV or computer?" Lily's furry little head excitedly popped out from between her fingers as she asked.
