"Oh my, it seems you've missed me quite a bit. You even remember my voice so clearly?" A faint smile touched Anna's lips as her arms wrapped around Charles's neck.
"Wait, let's get back to the ship first." Charles took her hand and led her out of the alley, his eyes scanning the surroundings warily.
"It's fine. I've already figured out their abilities and relics. As long as I'm here, they won't find you," Anna said, unwrapping the bandage from her eyes.
Despite Anna's assurances, Charles didn't dare let his guard down. He pulled her along as they rushed out of the alley. "How did you end up lurking around Swan? It's extremely dangerous near him right now."
"What's so dangerous? Oh, don't go that way. They'll sense us. Follow me."
Charles suddenly felt an immense force from Anna's hand pulling him in another direction.
