In the hall of the Governor's Mansion, Charles stood with his arms crossed, watching Linda bandage Deep's wounds as he listened to the man recount the details of what had happened.
Deep's green-scaled left hand was shackled to a nearby sofa, while a row of guards eyed him warily, various relics in their hands.
"Captain, that's the situation. I didn't hear all the specifics, but their plan to attack Hope Island is definitely real."
"How many Deep Dwellers are in the underwater city you were from?" Charles asked.
"I don't know, but I'd estimate millions," Deep replied. "My mother told me that we aren't the only group of our kind; I don't know if they'll seek out other clans."
