"Is the child asleep?" James asked his wife after swallowing the tender beef fillet in his mouth.
"Sound asleep. She wanted to wait up for you, but in the end, she dozed off right on the stool. She looked so adorable."
James smiled knowingly, picturing the scene his wife described.
"My love, you've been working hard at home," the burly James said, looking tenderly at his wife.
Mosica shook her head. "It's no trouble at all. As long as you come home every day, nothing feels hard. By the way, my dad has planned a family dinner for us this weekend. Will you be free?"
After taking a sip of soup with his spoon, James nodded. "Hmm, no problem. I shouldn't be too busy lately. Now that Deep is back, he can help me with quite a few things."
Mosica propped her cheek on her hand and tilted her head, watching her husband eat.
"I can't help but laugh every time I think about your proposal. My dad was so stubborn at first. He was afraid you'd die at sea and I'd be left a young widow."
