When Lily heard her little sister suddenly say something like that, she was taken aback for a moment. School? This was an experience she'd never had. Even before she turned into a mouse, it was always her mother who had taught her personally.
"But doesn't Mr. Charles's school only accept children under fourteen? I'm already too old."
Doctor Oliver, who was sitting nearby, swallowed a mouthful of clam meat and said, "That was before. Now there's a university, a tier above that school. It has no age limit, but you must be one of the elite to get in."
"If you really want to go, I still have some connections on the island. I can pay for a letter of recommendation."
Hearing this, Lily wasn't particularly tempted. "What do they even teach at school? I don't think there's much for me to learn."
