Li Sui held the joss paper and gold ingots, following behind Li Huowang. They walked to the crossroads, watching as he casually drew two circles on the ground with the Spinal Bone Sword.
Immediately after, Li Huowang tossed the joss paper into those two circles. Without needing to light them, the yellow paper inside the circles spontaneously caught fire.
Li Sui didn't ask who the two piles of joss paper were being burned for, she simply helped silently from the side. Soon after, she heard her father chuckle softly.
"Hehehe, Suisui, you know, it'd be nice if the Underworld really existed. With the Underworld, those two kinds of people wouldn't just die and disappear, their deaths wouldn't wipe their debts clean."
Li Huowang stared into the flames within the circles, the flickering red reflected in his eyes.
