Arad rushed forward, facing Balina's deadly breath head-on. He had many ways of defending against it, but all of them needed magic. So instead, he wanted to try and dive straight into it, using his massive body as a shield.
With a single leap, Arad pulled his limbs tightly, turning into a cannonball that flew straight into the acid, splashing through it like a bullet. By the time he reached Balina, his calves and forearms that he used to protect his torso had already melted away.
She gasped, tried to dodge aside, but she was a second too late. She didn't expect him to take the hit head-on and charge like this, but that's what he did.
As Arad reached her, it was clear that he didn't have his legs or arms; he could neither land nor catch her. So she got a bit confident and braced herself.
With her claws fully drawn, Balina was ready for a clash, aiming straight at Arad's neck. He had never used his magic or healed, so she doesn't expect him to change that now and pull any tricks.
