Li froze in her place under Mathilde's gaze. Being under the watch of an Archon felt strange, heavy, and quite scary. Even though the wood elves rarely worshipped Sylph directly, they knew her power well, and with Mathilde being one of her Archons, the wood elves couldn't afford to offend her no matter what.
Arad stood, "Got it, then I'll check this." He took a single step to the side, and his body split in half in a swarm of dark void. For a moment there, it looked like his entire body had turned into a black statue from which the second body emerged.
Just seeing that, several of the wood elves' guards in the back pissed themselves. Arad, with all of his harrowing power, could easily multiply like that. Dendron looked at them for a second and laughed. "Well, that's a fair reaction. I fought him before, and just when I was starting to do well against him, he multiplied into four and ganged on me."
