From what he learned, the weapon was called the sky splitting sword and the corresponding inheritance was the sky splitting sword art.
The sword had nine seals and each seal corresponded to a level of the sky splitting sword art.
If Chen Yi wanted to escape the rock, he needed to master the first level of the sky splitting sword art but the matter wasn't so straightforward.
While comprehending the sword art, his body would be ravaged by the sky splitting sword intent and this would not stop until he mastered the first level.
Overall, Chen Yi was racing against time.
If he mastered the first level before his body was ravaged, he would be able to contract the sword and even take the stone which was a perfect aid for comprehending the sword art.
However, if he failed, the sword intent would kill him and his body would become a whet for the sword.
Knowing this, Chen Yi didn't dare to slack and began studying the sword art.
.....
Five years passed in the blink of an eye.
