"I'm always the sentimental type," William replied, blinking in feigned shock and looking slightly insulted by her assessment. "You'll know in time that everything I do, every move I make, is ultimately for the wellbeing of others."
"Liar," Becky bellowed back, her laughter lacking any real heat. "And that's entirely different from the point I was making. Still, do you intend to stay here and rest for a while, or do you plan to return and continue the fighting immediately?"
"War won't wait for us to catch our breath," William said, shrugging his shoulders as he turned his gaze back to the North. "I'll rest when the threat is over. But for now, it's time to move on and speak about something truly important."
