"The funny thing is," William thought with a wry smile, "even if I did all this and hoped for recruiting a big force from the upper realm to my side, I never truly planned for that to happen before I even ascended to the upper realm. I need to take a little more time in seclusion here, planning my moves for the upper realm from this moment forward."
He decided not to leave the core immediately. He needed the silence and seclusion. He had general ideas about what he wanted to accomplish with such a strong powerhouse on his side, but those plans had always been designed for a later date, for when he would eventually ascend and begin to make a name for himself. Now, he had to accelerate those plans to match his current momentum.
Having such a big force at his disposal this early on could be a double-edged weapon, and William knew that perfectly. Power of that magnitude, if not properly directed, had a tendency to turn on its wielder or crush the very thing it was meant to protect.
