I'm checking in Gael and Angela in one of the rooms underground after I saw Trigger who was also recuperating down the hall. Both of them look pretty banged up but otherwise safe. They'll recover.
I've lost count on how many times I've tried calling Malia this morning and I have yet to hear from her. According to the security watching over them, they haven't left the house. This makes me start feeling anxious. She could send a quick text just to let me know if everything's okay, you know? After what happened last night, I have all kinds of feelings right now.
"We should call Mariano," Gael says.
Gael and I are talking about calling Mariano Morelli to inform him about what happened. After all, Filippo was his brother. I'm pretty sure someone has already called Gabby about the situation too. I can't believe I'm grateful that the asshole Mariano Morelli kept my niece there—away from the tragedy last night. He may have done so for personal reasons but at least Gabby was safe.
